  PLATFORMS AND GUIDELINES

Short Courses will use either Zoom or GoToTraining.
• The Interactive Paper Poster Sessions will be in Gather.town. Go to CONNECT for more details.
• Technical Sessions will use the platform GoToTraining.
• Conundrums and Workshops will use ZOOM.

GoToTraining (GTT):
The software is designed to automatically install itself when you first join. We suggest you launch the link fifteen minutes early to  ensure you are configured properly by the start of the course/talk.
Unless you are using a Linux computer, we recommend using the desktop app version and not the web version, click on the GTT icon to switch. The web version does not have all the features that the desktop version employs.
Linux users must use the GTT Web version. It is also recommended that you use the Chrome Browser.
Mac computer users, please review the Mac Users and GoToTraining document.
Please enter your first and last name and affiliation, think of it as the badge you would wear at an in person meeting.
Just like in person meetings, if you arrive early, you may see/hear last minute preparations taking place for the first speakers of the session.

Please review the Attendee Guidelines and the IST Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to remove an attendee from a live event if they are causing a disruption.

COLOR SCIENTIST MEETS BARTENDER/BARISTA …

As we all know, this year’s CIC is a virtual event which poses a challenge on physically meeting in the same room. Nevertheless, this should and will not stop us from having some nice gatherings with drinks to cheer, even though only virtually. Now, we are all color experts, and we don’t want to just show up with a ‘boring’ cocktail, coffee, or beer. There are so many more properties that a drink made by a color expert can entail.
